Take Four Asterisks and Feel Better Afterwards by Sarah Whalen

Neoconservatism's error, fueled by questionable RAND studies and neo-Hegelian "end of history" pronouncements, is failing to distinguish between democracy theory and democracy practice.

Neoconservatism's claim that democracies don't go to war with other democracies is true, or true enough. From there, though, neocons hypothesize they must create wars in order to democratize all countries so war will disappear.
