Gabbard: Everybody knows 'Hillary is a warmonger'

Rep. Tulsi Gabbard called Hillary Clinton a “warmonger” and blasted her foreign policy credentials.

Appearing on Fox News’s Tucker Carlson Tonight, the Democratic congresswoman from Hawaii agreed with Carlson’s assessment that Clinton was a “neocon,” or neoconservative.

“Look to her influence on going to launch regime change over in Syria, Libya,” Gabbard said. “You look throughout — obviously, her support for the war in Iraq — throughout her history. Her track record is well known.”

Victoria Nuland Is the Biggest Threat to the Deep State-Will She Be Arkancided?

Almost nobody is covering the importance of Victoria Nuland’s impending testimony before the Senate Intelligence Committee this week.

Nuland is an insider’s, insider. Because of her previous positions, traversing two separate administrations, she knows where all the bodies are buried, literally and figuratively. And at the present moment, Nuland is a bigger threat to the Deep State and the revelation of their illegal antics than Debbie Wasserman Schultz and even Hillary Clinton. In fact, Nuland’s testimony could send either Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama to prison, or she could be sending herself to prison if she is not entirely forthcoming. And of course, when one is preparing to testify against the Clintons, they tend to commit Arkancide (ie suicide prior to testimony).

I have speculated whether Nuland was even going to survive long enough to even provide her testimony to the Senate Intelligence Committee. It now appears she will survive to do so. However, if she really tells what she knows, she may not survive to give testimony to a grand jury.

Much has been made of the swing in political allegiances of neoconservatives in favor of Hillary Clinton.

As a group, Washington’s neocons are generally terrified of Trump’s unpredictability and his flirtation with the alt-right. Neocons Endorse Hillary as the US Party of Empire Is Finally Revealed

The husband of State Dept. political agitator Victoria Nuland is raising money for Hillary.

According to Foreign Policy, Robert Kagan, co-founder of the Project for the New American Century, is going to speak at Hillary’s fundraiser in DC’s Logan Circle neighborhood, July 21.

Foreign Policy states that this marks a shift in the Clinton campaign because it seems she is now willing to associate with high level Republicans who are determined to ruin Trump’s chances of becoming president.

If there were any doubts that Hillary Clinton favors a neoconservative foreign policy, her performance at Thursday’s debate should have laid them to rest. In every meaningful sense, she is a neocon and – if she becomes President – Americans should expect more global tensions and conflicts in pursuit of the neocons’ signature goal of “regime change” in countries that get in their way.

Beyond sharing this neocon “regime change” obsession, former Secretary of State Clinton also talks like a neocon. One of their trademark skills is to use propaganda or “perception management” to demonize their targets and to romanticize their allies, what is called “gluing white hats” on their side and “gluing black hats” on the other.

Clinton used her speech to the American Israel Public Affairs Committee meeting, the gathering of some of the most powerful lobbyists in Washington, to lambaste Donald Trump for saying he’d try to be neutral in heading up negotiations between Israel and the Palestinians. Donald Trump should be lambasted. He is wrong on everything most of every day. But, like a clock, he is right twice a day and this a point on which he is correct. The US cannot be an honest broker in the Mideast conflict if it is more Israeli than the Israelis, which it typically is. Palestinian negotiators over the years complained that they’d get an Israeli proposal, then go to the US to tweak it, and get back the same proposal fromDennis Ross or some other American partisan of Israel who had been put in a position to shape negotiations on the American side.

Sanders, Clinton, and the Neoconning of the Democratic Party

Has the Democratic party moved so far to the neoconnish right that red-baiting is now back in fashion in those circles? One would certainly think so if the latest Clinton-Sanders debate is any indication.

I’ve covered the Republican presidential debates in this space while mostly neglecting the Democratic debates for the simple reason that foreign policy is apparently not something Bernie Sanders wants to emphasize. And, for some reason, the debate moderators have proved supremely uninterested in asking questions about the one issue a US President has virtually total power over. This time, however, it did come up, and what happened on that stage in Florida underscores the limited but very real differences between the Clintonian and Sanderista wings of the party. It also illustrates the weaknesses of Clinton’s position, if, as expected, she wins the nomination and goes into the general – weaknesses that will only be manifested if she’s up against Donald Trump instead of some routinely interventionist Republican.

Neocon Kagan Endorses Hillary Clinton

Prominent neocon Robert Kagan has endorsed Democrat Hillary Clinton for president, saying she represents the best hope for saving the United States from populist billionaire Donald Trump, who has repudiated the neoconservative cause of U.S. military interventions in line with Israel’s interests.

In a Washington Post op-ed published on Thursday, Kagan excoriated the Republican Party for creating the conditions for Trump’s rise and then asked, “So what to do now? The Republicans’ creation will soon be let loose on the land, leaving to others the job the party failed to carry out.”

Blumenthal Email Confirms: Libya Was To Be Hillary’s Crowning Accomplishment

Paul wrote earlier today about the trove of Libya-related emails that Sidney Blumenthal has turned over to a House committee. The emails are embarrassing to Hillary Clinton because she received the emails from Blumenthal, but apparently failed to produce them to the committee. For the most part, these emails have not yet been made public, but National Review has exclusively obtained one of them; it is reproduced in full below.

This memo is dated August 22, 2011, immediately after the fall of Qaddafi’s government. It is interesting for several reasons. First, it shows Blumenthal giving Hillary political advice. Second, it confirms that Libya was intended to be Hillary’s great accomplishment as Secretary of State, for which she was to take full credit. Third, it is striking how Blumenthal’s comments about Libya sound as though he was talking about Iraq.

Based on her public record and Gates’s insider account, Clinton could be expected to favor a more neoconservative approach to the Mideast, one more in line with the traditional thinking of Official Washington and the belligerent dictates of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

As a U.S. senator and as Secretary of State, Clinton rarely challenged the conventional wisdom or resisted the use of military force to solve problems. She famously voted for the Iraq War in 2002 – falling for President George W. Bush’s bogus WMD case – and remained a war supporter until her position became politically untenable during Campaign 2008.
