The Debt Neocons Owe to the Atheist Left

Peter Hitchens describes his brother’s hawkish neoconservative foreign policy as a natural outgrowth of Christopher’s youthful Bolshevism, saying that he “continued to be utopian long after he should’ve stopped, and that’s what got him into the mess over the Iraq war.” In The Rage Against God, Peter even goes so far as to claim that “utopian atheism” is “common among neoconservatives.” In light of this statement, professing Christians who agree with the elder Hitchens’ views on foreign policy would do well to question whether they also agree with his godless, leftist premises.

The Internal War In The Deep State Claims Its High Profile Casualty: Jeffrey Epstein

As the policy disasters launched by Neocon Globalists piled up, the Neocons were desperate for domestic political allies. As a result, the "traditionalist" Neocons accepted the systemic corruption of the Deep State by degenerate, predatory self-serving elites and their enablers in the intelligence agencies, corporate media and other nodes of power.

Arrayed against this completely corrupt, degenerate camp of Neocon Globalists is a "nationalist" camp within the Deep State that grasps the end-game of Neocon Globalism, and is busy assembling a competing nation-centric strategy. There is tremendous resistance to the abandonment of Neocon globalism, not just from those who see power slipping through their fingers but from all those firmly committed to a magical belief that past success guarantees future success, i.e. doing more of what's failed will eventually succeed.

Graham And Neocons Push For A U.S.-Israeli Defense Treaty

The staunchly militaristic Jewish Institute for the National Security of America (JINSA) has proposed a mutual defense pact between the United States and Israel. JINSA frequently publishes papers and analyses around strategies that it would like to see pursued by the United States, Israel, or both, but this one is a little different. In this case, JINSA has enlisted Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) to help them sell the idea in both Israel and the United States.

Neocons Surrounding Trump Suckering Him Into Iran War

Hypocrisy seems to have become a defining characteristic of U.S. foreign policy, especially when it comes to Iran. After breaking the Iran deal last year and, de facto, forcing the Europeans to violate the deal in May, the U.S. administration is now complaining that Iran is no longer abiding by its obligations under the deal!
It’s remarkable to see Secretary of State Mike Pompeo take to Twitter to complain of Iran enriching uranium to pre-deal levels, as if somehow the U.S. believes it can still dictate the terms of a deal to which it is no longer a party.

Zionist-Neocon Groups in US Seeking to Help Riyadh Develop Nukes

A former US army psychological warfare officer and counter-terrorism analyst said certain “Zionist-Neocon interest groups” operating inside the US want to help Saudi Arabia develop nuclear weapons.

Warmongering Neocon ‘Free Beacon’ Glorifies Hiroshima Bombing

American Values, an excellent Twitter account which publishes daily information about US atrocities, has just posted a thread for the anniversary of the nuclear bombing of Hiroshima, Japan, and I think everyone should have a look at it today. It reads as follows:

Nationalism, Not Neoconservatism

Many of the main voices at the inaugural National Conservatism Conference reject a foreign policy of forever war. This includes not just Carlson but fellow keynoter Peter Thiel (“On this most important issue Donald Trump is right,” Thiel said at the 2016 Republican convention. “It’s time to end the era of stupid wars and rebuild our country.”), organizer Yoram Hazony, who was sharply critical of neoconservatives in his own speech, and best-selling author J.D. Vance.

If nationalists won't have libertarians, they'll get neoconservatives

It is true that many conventional Republicans today at least pay lip service to Trump’s noninterventionist “America First” foreign policy, but is it because these Republicans are true believers in restraint, or simply because the president is popular back home and they feel compelled to go along with whatever he says? How many of these Republicans behaved the same way under President George W. Bush, showing unquestioning fealty to the GOP president their base loved, though Bush represented the antithesis of the foreign policy today’s nationalists seek?
