Neoconservatives Like Max Boot Are the Last People We Should Listen to About Russia

“Imagine,” tweeted Max Boot, a sort of anti-Trump neocon and recently named columnist at the Washington Post, “if, after 9/11, the president saw the attack as a political embarrassment to be minimized rather than as a national security threat to be combated. That’s roughly where we stand after the 2nd-worst foreign attack on America in recent decades.”

The Nuclear Posture Review: The World Will Not Survive the American Neoconservatives’ Doctrine of US World Hegemony

Those responsible for the new Nuclear Posture Review should be committed to insane asylums, not left in policy positions where they can put it into action.
The government of the United States is clearly in demonic hands. We are overflowing with proof. Take today (February 2, 2018) for example. A report from the House Intelligence Committee was released that is proof that the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Department of Justice (sic), and the Democratic National Committee are engaged in a conspiracy against American democracy and the President of the United States with the full support of the presstitute media.

Arab Neoconservatives And Peace In The Persian Gulf

Recent years have seen a rise of what could be described as Arab neoconservatives: ambitious leaders such as the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia Mohammed bin Salman and the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi Mohammed bin Zayed. Their distinctive feature is a heavy reliance on military power to re-shape the political map of the Middle East in their favor, with the overarching aim of pushing back against Iran, a policy they share with the original, American neoconservatives.

Wilkerson says ‘Israel’s security’ was motive for Iraq war– though not in NYT op-ed

There was an excellent headline in the New York Times two days ago— “I Helped Sell the False Choice of War Once. It’s Happening Again”– on a piece by retired Col. Lawrence Wilkerson.
Wilkerson served as Colin Powell’s chief of staff in the runup to the Iraq disaster, and he wrote that the Secretary of State’s “gravitas” was used by the Bush administration to sell a war that destabilized the Middle East. A similar runup of claims is today being plotted by advocates of war in Iran. In both cases, a Washington braintrust pushes “falsehoods.”

I Helped Sell the False Choice of War Once. It’s Happening Again.

Fifteen years ago this week, Colin Powell, then the secretary of state, spoke at the United Nations to sell pre-emptive war with Iraq. As his chief of staff, I helped Secretary Powell paint a clear picture that war was the only choice, that when “we confront a regime that harbors ambitions for regional domination, hides weapons of mass destruction and provides haven and active support for terrorists, we are not confronting the past, we are confronting the present. And unless we act, we are confronting an even more frightening future.”

The “Deep State” is Really THE JEW STATE

Over the years I had read all about the Frankfurt school commies, knew about Piven and Alinsky, studied the background to the creation of the Federal Reserve and fully understood the Bolshevik Red revolution of 1917 was really a Marxist Jewish Coup D’Etat of a Christian Monarchy — which killed far more Gentiles than any Jew victims of Hitler — even if the gassing part of the Holohoax was true.

The turning of David Frum: Why a neoconservative pundit has become a relentless Trump critic

A one-time speechwriter for George W. Bush, David Frum has been a loud critic of the current Republican administration, both in articles for The Atlantic, where he is a senior editor, and in a new book, Trumpocracy: The Corruption of the American Republic. In Toronto this week, he talked to Kenneth Whyte, a founding editor of the National Post (and himself a student of American presidents, including his recent biography Hoover: An Extraordinary Life in Extraordinary Times) about the dangers, and possibilities, of POTUS Donald Trump.

Yes, Virginia (Dare), There IS A Deep State Conspiracy Against Trump. David Frum—Perhaps Unguardedly—Says So!

The Main Stream Media/ Democrat complex obviously got Journolist-type orders to shout down the Nunes Memo, which questions the FBI’s good faith in seeking to surveil (“wiretap”) Trumpworld, and so of course my old friend David Frum, a career MSM Token Conservative, has obediently joined in. Yet his current book Trumpocracy, clearly designed to cater to the apparently insatiable Ruling Class Hate-Trump hunger, confirms—perhaps unguardedly—that Yes, Virginia (Dare), there is indeed a Deep State AND IT IS MOUNTING A COUP AGAINST TRUMP. Significantly, Frum’s evidence is actually quite separate from the current FISA surveillance controversy. But it has been completely missed by reviewers and interviewers. They hate Trump, they really HATE him.

Turkey’s Invasion of Syria Pits Neocons Against Traditional Imperialists

US foreign policy in the Middle East is not merely adrift, it is in a state of severe crisis. Even as Turkish tanks and warplanes continue to pound US allies in northwestern Syria (The Kurds), powerbrokers in the White House and the Pentagon are unable to settle on a way forward. The frantic attempts to placate their NATO ally, Turkey, while trying to assuage the fears of their mostly Kurdish proxy-army (Syrian Democratic Forces) has further underscored the dismal absence of a coherent policy that would not only address the rapidly-changing battlespace  but also deal with the prospect that a critical regional ally (Turkey) might seek strategic objectives that are directly at odds with those of Washington.  The present disaster that is unfolding in the Afrin canton in Syria’s northwest corner could have been avoided had the Trump administration abstained from announcing that it planned a permanent military presence in east Syria, which implied its tacit support for an independent Kurdish state. This, in fact, was the trigger for the current crisis, the provocation that set the dominoes in motion.

An Old Paleocon Sets the Record Straight

In a recent television interview, leading neoconservative never-Trumper Bill Kristolscolded his erstwhile Weekly Standard employee Tucker Carlson for advocating for a reduced, merit-based immigration system. Kristol accused Tucker of being a full-blown ethnic nationalist, an identity that Kristol suggests was long latent in his acquaintance. “He always had a little touch of Pat Buchananism, I would say, paleoconservatism,” sniffed Kristol from his guest perch on CNBC.
