Worse yet, the mainstream media and those who hang on every lie uttered by Clinton and other neocons are indignant over the fate of freedom-loving Ukrainians. Even though Putin is no longer a communist, those who shape American opinions are eager to paint him as a nefarious ex-Red, a former KGB assassin who schemes as Hitler did.
And so begins the latest crusade for the neocons, but this time the crusade is against a resolute Russian leader who commands a modern nuclear arsenal capable of destroying the world several times over. Picking on Putin is not the same game as beating up Saddam or hunting down bin Laden. It has dangerous consequences that have not been thought through since old guard communists like Andrei Gromyko were ousted from the Kremlin in the 1980s..
