Mark Dankof's op-ed for Al Bawaba: The Middle East Gateway (Amman, Jordan) supports the latter's decision to make public the grisly Nick Berg murder and decapitation photos. This latest pictorial tragedy of a Middle Eastern atrocity dovetails with the Abu Ghraib debacle; the leak of the flag-draped American coffin photos at Dover AFB; and the camera-captured atrocities in the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, to underscore the quagmire created by the Bush-Rumsfeld War for Empire and Sharon in Iraq.
