Project for the New American Century last updated: October 16, 2019

In a widely noted January 2004 National Interest article titled “The Neoconservative Moment,” Fukuyama argued that the neoconservatives had failed to acknowledge “new facts” about the situation in Iraq and elsewhere. These new facts, he said, included “the failure to find weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, the virulent and steadily mounting anti-Americanism throughout the Middle East, the growing insurgency in Iraq, the fact that no strong democratic leadership had emerged there, the enormous financial and growing human cost of the war, the failure to leverage the war to make progress on the Israeli-Palestinian front, and the fact that America’s fellow democratic allies had by and large failed to fall in line and legitimate American actions ex post.”[37]

Rand Paul's annual Festivus rant targets Pelosi, Giuliani and "Neocon Apprentice" John Bolton

After joking that “it’s going to be really hard to live with myself if I don’t get to sit in a chair all day long for weeks at a time listening to people talk about Rudy Giuliani” and that House Intelligence Chairman Adam Schiff, D-Calif., would have wiretapped him if he had talked to Giuliani, Paul tweeted, “You do have to wonder how he was the best the President could think of for a lawyer — ‘hey, get me that guy who spills his guts on CNN and butt dials everyone in Washington. He can keep a secret!’”
Paul then turned his sights on former national security adviser John Bolton, describing him as “what's his name, the guy who kept trying to start all the wars but then got fired on twitter.” He commented that Bolton was one of many “hawks the President hired, didn’t listen to, got mad at and fired. Neocon Apprentice really wasn’t very well thought out.” Paul praised Trump’s foreign policy instincts as “pretty good,” thought that the president would describe them as “perfect” and joked that “President Trump grades phone calls the way he scores his golf game, believe me a few mulligans are taken.”

Neocon Tobin Dupes NY Post & Haaretz Readers on Birch Society

In a column calling for conservatives and Republicans to distance themselves from racists and anti-Semites, neoconservative columnist Jonathan Tobin deceived readers of the New York Post and the fringe left-wing Israeli newspaper Haaretz. Writing about the dispute between the John Birch Society and National Review founder William Buckley, Tobin got the facts exactly backwards. In addition to lying about and demonizing the JBS with blatant falsehoods, Tobin praised Buckley as “conservatism’s intellectual leader,” completely ignoring Buckley’s controversial writings calling for whites, as the “advanced race,” to use force to keep blacks from voting in order to preserve “civilization” in the face of “Negro backwardness.”

The McCain mob in the Senate has been secretly waiting for this hour

Remember, that Graham, McConnell and over half of Senate Republicans are either CFR members or former close allies of Senator John McCain, an implacable enemy of Donald Trump, an international conspirator behind the Ukrainian coup that put in the Clinton and Biden dealing regime that preceded the election of anti-corruption candidate Zelenski., whom Donald Trump, as transcript reveals, spoke innocently and appropriately to, but which Schiff’s witness fraudulently misrepresented never expecting that Donald Trump would prove his innocence by releasing the full conversation transcript unredacted. WITH McCONNELL AND GRAHAM INSISTING THAT THAT SCHIFF’S FALSE-TESTIMONY WITNESSES NOT BE CALLED FOR FULL EXPOSURE IN THE SENATE, THE REPUBLICAN McCAIN NEO-CONS AND OBEDIENT C.F.R. MEMBERS AND THE ANTI-TRUMP BUSH-APPOINTED CHIEF JUSTICE. DONALD TRUMP AND EVERYONE WHO VOTED FOR HIM OVER THE C.F.R. ORGANIZED CRIME CLINTON ARE GOING TO HAVE THEIR ELECTION CHOICE OF PRESIDENT STOLEN FROM THEM. IT CAN END NO OTHER WAY. I AM VERY SAD ABOUT THIS, BECAUSE THE LOSS OF TRUMP TO DEEP STATE C.F.R. GLOBALIST TOTALITARIANS IS THE WORST THING THAT CAN HAPPEN TO AMERICA AND THE WORLD.

FISA contradicts the Constitution

Congress enacted the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act in 1978 in response to the unlawful surveillance of Americans by the FBI and the CIA during the Watergate era. President Richard Nixon — who famously quipped after leaving office that “when the president does it, that means that it is not illegal” — used the FBI and the CIA to spy on his political opponents.
The stated reason was national security. Nixon claimed that foreign agents physically present in the U.S. agitated and aggravated his political opponents to produce the great public unrest in America in the late 1960s and early 1970s, and thus diminished Americans’ appetite for fighting the Vietnam War. There was, of course, no evidence to support that view, but the neocons in Congress and the military-industrial complex supported it even after Nixon left office.

AEI, a Major Neocon Thinktank, Implicated in the Sackler Family’s Opioid Crisis

Now Tucker Carlson has uncovered another angle intimately tied to our new Jewish elite: the American Enterprise Institute (AEI). The AEI figured prominently in my article “Neoconservatism as a Jewish Movement,” published in 2004:
Jewish intellectual and political movements also have typically had ready access to prestigious mainstream media outlets, and this is certainly true for the neocons. Most notable are the Wall Street Journal, CommentaryThe Public Interest, Basic Books (book publishing), and the media empires of Conrad Black and Rupert Murdoch. Murdoch owns the Fox News Channel and the New York Post, and is the main source of funding for Bill Kristol’s Weekly Standard—all major neocon outlets.

Trump’s Problems Have Neocons Licking Their Chops

The neoconservatives and their allies are now smelling blood. The Trump-era trajectory of the ideologues who ruled under George W. Bush is complicated. Some neocons, such as writers Max Boot, Jennifer Rubin, David Frum and William Kristol, have flown the coop, effectively or explicitly abandoning the Republican Party. Other neocons have thrived, serving in the Trump administration while the 45th president pursues the hawkish line on Iran that the 43th president actually flinched from. If populist-nationalism could be discredited in the process, that is is just the cherry on top.
