Neocons under attack from unlikely quarter by Weston S. Konishi

Japan's ability to win the favor of the neoconservative-dominated Bush administration is no small feat. Other U.S. allies have been less successful. Germany and France, the Old Europe according to U.S. Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld, have suffered varying degrees of disdain from Washington in the wake of the Iraq war.
